Work and Travel Job Placement Program

After the economical crises at the beginning of 2009 lots of Working Holiday
Visa Holders experienced long term job searches without having any luck of
finding a suitable job and even run out of money and had to leave the
country. Therefore we introduced our new program with our partner ‘Global
Work & Travel’ which is designed for people with Working Holiday Visas to
plan ahead and prevent disappointments while travelling through Australia as
the package includes a CONFIRMED job BEFORE arrival in Australia, not only
“job assistance”. 

Visa requirements: Working Holiday Visa

Jobs: Jobs are very sought after and range from sales, marketing, customer
service, hospitality, Information Technologies, special events, fashion, & retail, trades, office work, child care. Applicants can choose a placement out of those areas; however you need to be open-minded with your job offers. Please remember that you are doing working holidays, and do not plan long term careers! E.g. if you are looking for a job in marketing, positions include marketing for promotional and sales companies as well as fundraising organisations etc. will be organised.

 
Location: Positions are available mainly on the east coast of Australia. Jobs are very sought after and include various locations all over Australia including The
Great Barrier Reef, The Gold Coast, The Sunshine Coast, The Central Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, Canberra & Brisbane.

Applicants can ask for certain location; however you need to be open-minded with your job location. Please remember that you are looking for a paid job and you must go where you are needed!
 
Payment: Wages range from $13 - $25 per hour depending on the role.
 
English requirements: All companies expect good English knowledge. Therefore all applicants are required to have sufficient English language skills for effective workplace communication. A guide to the required language level is usually TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.

Duration and Eligibility of Internship

• Guaranteed job placements range from 3 - 12 months depending on applicant’s requirements.
• You can work up to 6 months per employer if you come on a Working Holiday Visa.

Package Fees

• Option 1: One-Job-Offer Package:  A$ 1,885 (no insurance)
• Option 2: One-Job-Offer Package + 6 months insurance: A$ 1,885 + A$ 842 = A$ 2,727   
• Option 3: Two-Job-Offer Package + 12 months insurance: A$ 1,885 + A$ 1,478 = A$ 3,363

 

Note:

• You can NOT ask for a Two-Job-Offer Package without insurance.
• You can apply for the program if you are outside Australia or already in
• Australia.
• If you do not buy the insurance package, you must organise your own health
• insurance and liability insurance covering the whole time of the program.

 

‘Aussietravelcover Travel Insurance’ includes: (FULL COVER)

•        6 months travel insurance: A$ 842 per person 
•      12 months travel insurance: A$ 1,478 per person

Cover for cancellation fees and lost deposits, insolvency of a Travel Services Provider, emergency medical assistance, medical treatment, additional accommodation and travel expenses caused by your health problems,

Rental Vehicle being: – Stolen – Crashed – Damaged and/or cost of returning
the Rental Vehicle due to you being unfit to do so.
