Choosing a bird vet over a regular vet

Looking after birds around the world taught me a great deal of things. One of the things it taught me was the importance of a bird vet over a regular vet.
Parrots especially were treated with the utmost care at a bird vet and the bird vet was a lot more familiar with how a bird worked. This was great as it was a true speciality and made me feel calmer when it came to bird care.
I think you should always choose a bird vet over a regular vet when it comes to your bird's health.
