Stop those snakes from coming into the backyard

One time doing a pet sitting job I was at a property that had a big problem with snakes coming onto their land.
To stop this we would go around the backyard and remove all dark spots where snakes might like to hide. We also made sure that the bottom of fences were covered and there weren't big gaps that let snakes in.
We even bought some snake repellent which seemed to work and then the snakes would not come to the property at all! One time we did find a snake but we called a snake handler and it was all sorted!
