Employment on Farms - Your Passport to Employment 

Course Content
This course comprises of four weeks of rural training combined with compulsory activities including General skills, Occupational Workplace Health & Safety, Driver Training, Machinery Operations and Animal Handling. Non-compulsory subject streams include Beef, Crops, Pigs, Horses or Horticulture. In addition, students are required to complete 2-4 weeks of paid work under the coordination of Emerald Agricultural College. 

Career Possibilities
The Rural Passport Program enables you to work on farms and farming estates, the rural industry or aim to towards obtaining a higher Rural Production qualification.

Cost
$2,950 per person including 4 weeks of training, accomodation, meals and work placement fees. 

Location
Emerald Agricultural College is located in the highlands of central Queensland.

Course Duration
4 weeks College training with 2-4 weeks of optional paid work placement.
